IISD #7

IISD Admin Lunchroom Chatter #7

Nosher #1: Do you think the superintendent is going to be able to pull it off?

Nosher #2: Are you talking about Item #10 on Monday’s (10-17-11) board agenda? Isn’t that the one where he wants to renovate the IISD atrium of the Super’s Palace? Without even wonder why he wants to do this, the chances are looking good. And we really want the Super’s Palace to look outstanding if TxDOT should decide to buy the building for Hwy 183 expansion!

Nosher #1: I agree. There will be so much confusion, screaming rhetoric from the audience and discussion regarding the “skin study” and redistricting that most board members will just rely on his “administrative enlightenment” to pass this costly project.

Nosher #2: You are probably right. Besides, audience members and others in the community have probably forgotten about all the teacher layoffs, shortage of critical supplies on campuses, the expensive renovation of his office suite, and the board extending his contract to 2016 to really care about this non-essential spending on the Super’s Palace.

Nosher #1: (under their breath) Cool it. One of his “moles” just came in to eat.
