CCRs dwT #23: Mini-Super Named

Dylan sez…
(a short and timely jotting for CCR twits tweeters)

07-18-13

dwT #23:  The new Irving ISD board has appointed Weldon Hafley, formerly of the Eagle Mountain-Saginaw ISD, as the interim superintendent of the district...following the hasty retreat of Super Beden earlier this month.  A new board and new interim Super makes this the opportune time to begin a veritable cycle of progress and improvement for the district.

Backstory clue for the information impaired:   Today starts a new era for the Irving ISD.  With a new board and a new interim superintendent identified, the board can now take due diligence to find and hire a permanent superintendent.  The advancements expected of this new board are that the days of clandestine conversations, under the table skullduggery and skirting the Open Meetings Act, as often witnessed by the old board, will now be a thing of the past.  As well as they should be!  The public (and Dylan) not only expects this, but will keep a keen eye on district operations and board activities to ensue that it happens.

A note from counsel: Some “tweets” from Dylan Westie have been injected with fabricated nouns, verbs, adjectives, conjunctions, adverbs, modifiers and maybe a few dangling participles….Mark Holbrook
