dwT #24: The B&B show (Beth & Brad) featured at the council work session, while discussing the proposed ARK deal for the Entertainment Center, reflected a new twist from their shared and scripted talking points. It appears that mayor BVD might have been receiving text messages (from her primary handler?) as to what new questions to sling on the table to obfuscate the issue while LaMorgese played lawyer for the prosecution. Performance score: 4 mane flips.
(Backstory clue for the information impaired: The city council will approve/disapprove the ARK agreement at their Thursday meeting. Announcements have been sent out by interested parties on both sides of the issue to muster their folks to attend and speak. Who knows? The shills for mayor BVD and councilman LaMorgese may even be serving tea. While the CCR previously hinted at a possible 7-2 vote of approval, it appears that based on today’s discussion, this may be shifting to a 6-3 vote for approval now that councilman Spink has awakened.
