dwT #25: Just how bad does it have to get in Irving before folks realize that there is something terribly wrong at city hall when the subject is the mayor and an article uses the word “crazy” in a sentence? Does Rusk need a new mayor?
(Backstory clue for the information impaired: For reference purposes, the August, 2013 issue of D magazine has a very detailed article about mayor BVD, the ARK Entertainment Center proposal and the current political climate in the city. Here is the “crazy” reference.
“But to many, Van Duyne has turned up the crazy to a level that ventures into baffling and perhaps damaging. To them, she is not a transparency advocate and reformer, but instead someone using Tea Party austerity rhetoric to distract a fractious electorate while she consolidates power for her benefactors.”
