Thursday (August 27, 2015, 7:00 p.m.) is the night!
Pop the corn, send the rug rats to bed early, and be prepared to hear rationale so thin -- from QueenB VD, the Flying Harpy flock, Pet Rocks, and her "dark money" handlers -- as to why the ARK deal for the Entertainment Center should be scuttled (or sunk)…thereby eliminating the most important development necessary for the urban center’s survival.
For all the years QueenB VD has been an elected official in Irving, she has been against the Entertainment Center project. Vehemently against the development! And why?
Many believe the primary reason for her obnoxious, wrongheaded and self-aggrandizing resistance was due to her "dark money" handlers and Sugar Daddy donors not having their finger in the economic development-pie…by having their choice of developers in charge of the project.
While the issue, being voted on Thursday, would normally bring out a few opponents of the project, QueenB VD and her "dark money" handlers are doubling down. They appear to be planning to spend some of the non-transparent "dark money" funds to spread untruths, fabricated facts and misinformation (much like they did in the last city election attempting to have Tom Spink re-elected) to pack the city hall chamber with low information supporters of the queen.
This is truly sad and tragic. The queen and her minions attempt to fabricate what is wrong with the Entertainment Center, but seldom, if ever, demonstrate what they have done or accomplished to support a project which will bring tourist, businesses and development to the city.
No, just constant blathering and verbally browbeating anyone who disagrees with one of QueenB VDs pronouncements or dictates is the modus operandi of these perpetual whiners.
On the surface, it appears all the necessary details for approving the agreement have been completed, by the city administration, to move the project forward with ARK. And this is a good thing.
The final step is for the council to approve the minor revisions to the development document with ARK on Thursday night.
However, readers of the CCR would be well advised to contact at least two of QueenB VDs perpetual Pet Rocks and ask them when are they going to do what is right for the citizens, businesses and what they were elected to do…serve the best interest of the city.
Isn’t it time for those individuals to park their flimsy queenly talking points, Torofeca rhetoric and vote for Irving…not QueenB VDs self-interest? Isn’t it time to put the citizens of Irving first?

(Just don’t tell the queen you are with the DMN, as she is still snit-fitting over their accurate portrayal of her recent actions of fabricating fiction from genuine facts.)
The time is now for Irving to move forward out of the nonsensical political stench QueenB VD has created over this Entertainment Center issue. The time is now to demonstrate progress is achieved by teamwork, not regal dictate or the personal agenda of "dark money" handlers. And certainly, the time is now to reflect to the surrounding communities that Irving knows how to finalize a project which will make it a destination point for surrounding communities, cities and states.
Tune in to the meeting on ICTN, or demonstrate your concern for good government by attending the meeting, speaking and thanking the council members who put Irving first!

Director Irving Opportunity Council "dark money" slamming council for transparency is joke of the year. His records darker than $$-Black Hole.
(Director was Marvin Randle, and Joe Mapes, another director, also spoke against the project)
Remember, if you are not part of the solution to assist the council members supporting and voting to approve the ARK agreement for the Entertainment Center project, then you must be in servitude to QueenB VD and her "dark money" handlers who believe even bad government can be purchased with enough "dark money."
