CCR 02-15-17 #AlternativeSignings

the   Controversial  Committee   Report
“We don’t raise sacred cows...we just butcher them.”

#AlternativeSignings

Well, dear readers, QueenB VD is at it again.  And, of course, her latest self-promotion escapade has all the markings of appearing to promote and push her self-interest for a political position above being mayor of the city.

QueenB VD has signed a letter, as mayor of Irving, chastising the Dallas County Commissioners for their recent passage of a resolution.  Since the commissioners have every right to pass whatever resolutions they deem necessary, why does the queen feel it is her obligation to indulge in strident commentary on their actions?

What makes QueenB VDs encroachment on another governmental entity — by signing this letter as mayor of Irving — unconscionable is the  inference and insinuation which gives readers the impression her comments represent the opinion and approval of the Irving City council and city!

This just isn’t true!  When the queen infers she knows how to run county government better than those elected to do so, this places another unwarranted stigma on Irving.  Shouldn’t voters be the voice to decide when the Dallas County Commissioners might be out of line?

There is no record of QueenB VD consulting or seeking the approval of the city council before rushing off to affix her name to a letter which is slanted more to appeasing Red Meat TEA-carnivores than reflecting disappointment with the Dallas County Commissioners.

Once again, QueenB VD places her self-interest and self-aggrandizing agenda before considering the fact her lone voice does not represent the city or city council in a matter.  A larger question should be asked: Where are the Irving City council voices expressing opposition to the queen’s actions and censoring her comments?

What would QueenB VDs reaction have been if the Dallas County Commissioners sent a letter of protest when her disastrous HB 562 city resolution was being shipped off to Austin?  When this resolution was considered, the Irving City council was involved by barely passing the matter on a 5-4 vote.

Additionally, it should be remembered the City of Irving was the only city in the entire state of Texas which passed a resolution in support of the State’s irrelevant HB 562.

Of course, QueenB VD cannot just inappropriately sign a letter demeaning the actions of the Dallas County Commissioners, she has to make her presence and egocentricity appeal to a broader audience.  And this must be why she went on the Glenn "Bloated Bloviator" Beck’s airwaves to reinforce her strident, misguided and fact fabrication comments.

Being on Beck’s program was QueenB VDs continued attempt to reinforce her pseudo-credentials of being a rabid supporter and proponent for Red Meat TEA-carnivores.  All of her actions and statements had little, or nothing to do with the job she was elected to perform as mayor of the city.

The filing deadline for city offices closes Friday, February 17th at 5:00 PM.  Hopefully, there will not be a filing by QueenB VD.

The time to end the six-year nightmare of QueenB VDs failed leadership of the city could begin at 5:01 PM on Friday.  And frankly, dear readers, that is not soon enough!
